(Yes I did and had to throw the whole batch away and make a new one). I have a loaf of multigrain organic bread in the fridge so I decided to make my own bread crumbs
Last Sunday, Mother's day, I tried out Tanzhong wholemealbread with the loaf tin brought back from Auckland and took account of the longer baking time after learning from the first few failed attempts, I was thrilled that my second attempt of bread making with this small desktop was a success
Honey Yogurt Bread. Knead all ingredients except the butter in a bread maker. The tough yet fragrant skin of the bread hides a soft and deliciously milky inside
When the baking is done, quickly unmould the bread and let it sit on a rack to cool down. Now, you can carefully slice the bread when its completely cooled
Dip the bread into the egg mixture, let it absorb the egg mixture completely. Use a non-stick pan, melt some butter with low flame, pan fried the bread until golden
It just made the dish whole lot more interesting. quick and easy to whip up, yet so delicious that at the end of our meal, the pan was mopped sparkling clean with our homemade pita bread
That said, I do eat wholemealbread and whole wheat crackers as a snack – but I eat it with a protein like eggs, cheese or almonds so that the blood sugar doesn’t rise as quickly
I couldn't help but slurp down the entire bowl (I usually don't finish whole bowl of noodles). There were ample seating so I didn't have to share table/squeeze with strangers (搭台 dap toi), hence I could take more time to shoot my photos and eat the meal at my own pace (without worrying about time and people waiting for their turns)
