ginger 2 stalks spring onion, cut to section 2 chillies, seeded (optional)seasoning 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine (hua tiao jiu) 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 3 tbsp light soy sauce 1 can coca cola (300ml)
oil and fry ginger, chillies and spring onion till aromatic. Add in chicken wings and fry both sides till brown. Add in seasoning, bring to a boil and simmer at medium heat for about 20 minutes (do not cover the chicken with lid), turning the wings occasionally. Then turn to high heat again and boil the sauce to thicken and sticky. Dish up and serve immediately.
Marinate chicken with all the seasonings and let it rest for half hour or more. 2nd dish to attempt on air fryer was Spicy Fried ChickenWings. Adjust temp to 150 deg and continue to air fry for another 10 mins (I turned chicken over for this). Continue another 7 mins until the chicken is cooked and golden brown
The 1st time I had my marmite chickenwings was in Malaysia. 5 whole chickenwings (you may cut it into bite size or half). 1) Wash and pat dry chickenwings. 2) Arrange chickenwings (without the marinade) into the air fryer. 3) Transfer the chickenwings to a frying pan at low fire and add in the marinade, let it caramelize. 5 whole chickenwings (you may cut it into bite size or half)
Add chicken drumstick and fry well over high heat. When the chicken turns its colour to white (sign that it is nearly cooked), add potatoes, mushrooms, red dates, sliced black fungus, stir fry for a min before pour in water
