Ingredients

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1. In a small pot, boil the gula melaka with the evaporated milk until the sugar has dissolved completely. Set aside to cool.
  • 2. Once the gula melaka mixture is cooled, add in the beaten egg and melted butter and mix well.
  • 3. Add in the sieved flour, baking powder
  • 4. Pour the batter into 3 cupcake cases and let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
  • 5. Steam the cupcakes over high heat for about 15
